Oh look…it’s a new year!

I have to say 2011 was one busy year. It was busy at my day job…so there were times when SeriouslySickSocks™ did not get worked on much as I would like. I am going to try and turn that around this year. 2012. Big plans!

I am so looking forward to creating new designs in 2012! But, I am so zero’d out on SeriouslySickSocks™ inventory I can hardly wait to get my shelves re-stocked with all my favorite adorable horibles again! Shelves are just to bare at the moment. Even Art Apocalypse Now! Art Gallery and Tattoo Studio [in Athens, Ohio] SeriouslySickSocks™ sales case is completely empty! The reason? Most of my invenotry disappeared at the MothMan Festival [September, 2011] and then, the Christmas shopping season has emptied my inventory out completely.

A Big Thanks! to Casa Nuava, Athens, Ohio for hosting ATHCO Women’s Art Guild Christmas Crafts Sale in their restaurant; Thanksgiving thru Christmas. Casa really helped local crafters with Christmas Sales by covering their walls with holiday gifts to be purchased while customers dined! Great combination during a busy shopping season.

With this new year and yet again….a complete re-organization of my studio…it is time to go into production!

It has been a long time since I worked on my original zombie designs…like Bent, Greasy and Brainy, I miss you!

And…I have several new designs that I can’t wait to start puzzling together! Puzzling together…my new term for making my sketches come ALIVE!

I hope to have more Gill_Creature from the Black Lagoon, Road Rash, Frankenmonkey, Bride of Frankenmonkey  and Cthulhu in the next 2 months…I can’t seem to make enough of these SeriouslySickSocks™.

And some really big news…I am posting a new SeriouslySickSocks™ WEBSiTE! This new site, I hope, will be much easier to access and get information on where SeriouslySickSocks™ can be purchased and where designs are located that you are looking for. I will be posting the new web link soon!

I am also working on re-stocking my Seriously Sick Socks Etsy Store again. My Etsy store has been empty for awhile now and I feel really bad about that…but there are just so many hours in a day.

I will be leaving the old website up this next year in case someone wants to go there and prowl around. The old website does have links to my Etsy store and my studio blog here.

That is about it for a first blog in 2012. I hope you all have a very happy, productive and enjoyable new year!
